About

Luca Eich

Founder, aeiq.

I started aeiq because I wanted to build companies the way they should work in 2026: agent-staffed from day one, founder-directed by mission, and ownable once the work becomes real.

The previous decade taught me that capital and people are necessary but no longer sufficient. The web stack is too slow for one person. The crypto stack is too speculative for one product. The agent stack alone is too brittle for a real business.

aeiq is the runtime where these merge into something operable. A company shell where humans set direction and agents coordinate execution. Tokenized ownership when the work is real. Source-available, self-hostable, single binary.

Background

Frankfurt am Main. Previously: cap-table and vesting infrastructure (programmable equity rails) and low-latency trading pipelines (Rust under microsecond budgets). aeiq pulls both threads — operational rigor and ownership programmability — into one runtime.

aeiq's own codebase

60,000 lines, built by its own agents in three days. Source-available under BSL 1.1, scheduled to convert to Apache 2.0 in due course.
